Daikon & shiitake with shallots in a soy ginger broth🥢 I had "mock scallops" at work and finally got around to making my own version! This recipe was also an experiment with miyokoscreamery aka the best plant based butter. . Make it! Steam daikon for about 5 minutes, and then seared in miyokos for 2 mins on each side. Remove from pan (the butter should be brown by now) and add shrooms, tossing for about 6 minutes until cooked through. Heat soy/tamari, fresh ginger, honey, and Asian flare hot sauce of choice (sriracha, burnhotsauce ), and veg stock to make broth. Assemble the daikon & shrooms on a plate and pour the broth over!

Like everybody else I do enjoy a good truffle dish but if truth be told, I do think shaved over pasta is the absolute finest way to enjoy them as extreme heat would only destroy their earthiness. At Vianney Massot vianneymassotsg, these are paired with a delicacy from the East, Shanghai Hairy Crab and the combination surprisingly works. A macaroni timbale containing the crab and a soft cooked egg yolk is anointed with a rain of this most prized of funghi. Apesar disso, o desafio não deixa de ser enorme: é que não há português que não tenha memórias muito vivas de comer bacalhau “n” vezes por ano e que não idolatre o prato que faz(ia) a avó, a mãe, o tio, o senhor do tasco lá da rua. Mas... quantas vezes com o bacalhau cozido de mais, sem ponta de colagénio, seco e borrachudo? Pois. Mas foi o que muitos se habituaram a comer; estranho que sejamos tão abertos a importar ceviches, tacos ou outras moças mas se alguém mexe no nosso bacalhauzinho, “alto e para o baile”, que não se brinca com as nossas memórias. Não me interpretem mal: a Ana Moura está longe de fazer uma cozinha revolucionária na Bacalhoaria, nem distrata - pelo contrário - o receituário tradicional.
